Letters
The IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters (MWCL) is published monthly with the purpose of providing short, three page papers, of original and significant contributions relevant to all aspects of microwave/millimeter-wave technology, with emphasis on devices, components, circuits, guided wave structures, systems and applications covering the frequency spectrum from microwave and beyond, including submillimeter-waves and infrared.
The MWCL is the preeminent publication of short papers concerning RF and microwave technology, with an Impact Factor of 1.759 and an acceptance rate of 25%. The median publishing delay from submission to publication is 21 weeks
Information for Authors
Authors interested in submitting a manuscript for publication in MWCL should first read the Information for Authors page for the Letters.
Electronic Access
The Letters are available to digital subscribers through IEEE Xplore.
Rapid Posting System
All accepted articles are posted electronically in Xplore as soon as copy editing of the manuscript is complete (a few days after the author returns the galley proofs). The publication of an issue will occur when an issue is being assembled. Issues will be assembled 2 to 10 weeks after electronic posting.
The Tatsuo Itoh Award
The Tatsou Itoh Award is given annually and recognizes the author(s) of the best paper published in the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters in the previous calendar year. All past Tatsou Itoh Award papers can be viewed here.
