Standards for References
Incorrectly identified
references are the major cause of publication delays and delays in
reviewing. Please put special attention into correctly identifying your
references. Please use the following guidelines
Always use month and year
of publication in references and abbreviate months. Use initials for the first
names of authors in your list of references. Include all authors' names in your
references.
** Periodicals:
Author(s) Initial(s), Sur Name(s), "Title of paper," Title of Periodical, vol #, issue #, pp. xx-xx, Abbrev. Month, Year.
(Please note that any IEEE Transactions that was published prior to 1988 (with the exception of Proc. IEEE) must carry the transactions acronym, e.g. Vol. MTT25).
Note that the correct reference for the Transactions is ' <start italic> IEEE Trans. Microwave Theory and Tech. <end italic> '
** Books:
Author(s) Initial(s), Sur Name(s), "Title of chapter in book (if

Note that the correct reference for the 2004 IMS Symposium is 'in <start italic> 2004 IEEE MTT-S Int. Microwave Symp. Dig. <end italic> ' .
Note that the correct reference for the 2004 EuMC Conference is 'in <start italic> Proc. 34 th European Microwave Conf." <end italic> ' .
Do not use acronyms for conferences, spell the full name of the conference out (e.g. instead of IEDM use Int. Electron Devices Meeting)
