Welcome to the 2005 International Microwave Symposium (IMS). The conference will be hosted by the city of Long Beach, located in beautiful Southern California, near to the Pacific Ocean, the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary, Disneyland, UCLA, USC, Cal Tech, and microwave companies. The Microwave Week provides new and exciting research results, innovative product announcements, and discussions of microwave techniques, and a chance to meet both old and new friends.
The IMS2005 Steering Committee is very proud to present you with the fruits of our labor for the past eight years. There have been many changes in Long Beach since the conference was last here in 1989; come and enjoy the old and the new features of this seaside resort. The Microwave Week includes three separate symposia (International Microwave Symposium, Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC) Symposium, and Automatic RF Techniques Group (ARFTG) Symposium), workshops, tutorials, special/focus sessions, and an exhibition of microwave products that is second to none.
