You can now add IMS Technical Sessions to your Outlook Calendar and create a custom Internationl Microwave Week schedule! In addition to the Program Guide for PDA and smartphones, you can now create a fully customized list of IMS technical sessions into your Outlook calendar. Once imported as events in your calendar, they can easily by transferred to a Palm OS PDA or smartphone or to a Microsoft Moble PDA or smartphone.

The way this is done is as follows:

Visit the IMS2005 Technical Program webpage, at http://www.ims2005.org/tech_pgm2.htm
Select an IMS2005 Technical Session that you would like to attend from the HTML table.
Just to the right of each session name, there is an ‘iCal’ url link. Click on that link. This will bring up the iCal document which can then be saved to your calendaring program such as Outlook for Windows PC and iCal for Apple Macs.

You can then print the customized Microwave Week Schedule and bring it to Long Beach with you.
If you are a PDA or smartphone user, simply use your PDA’s Outlook synchronizing software (Hotsync or ActiveSync) to transfers these events to your PDA.
Each event contains the list of papers (session name and chair, titles, authors and afflications)

Of course, if you want the entire Program Guide in Repligo format on your PDA, simply following the instructions at http://www.ims2005.org/pda/index.htm to download the Repligo Viewer and the Program Guide document. Supported devices include Windows Mobile PDAs, PalmOS PDAs, Nokia and Symbian smartphones
