Technical committee (MTT-17) for HF, VHF, and UHF technology was created at International Microwave Symposium IMS'97 in Denver to serve the needs of some 26,000 RF engineers who work at frequencies below 1 GHz.
A committee of the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The mission of MTT-17 includes:
Providing a focal point within IEEE for RF engineering,
Furthering the state of art,
Education of the RF engineer.
