Almost all physical devices can be represented by some equivalent network. It is the mission of the IEEE MTT-8 Filters and Multiplexers Technical Committee to evaluate new developments in the synthesis and analysis of passive and active elements that are interconnected to realize a specified transfer function. This committee reviews papers submitted for publication and provides member contributions to technical publications, books, and the MTT-S Newsletter. The committee also organizes Workshops, edits Special Issues of the MTT-S Transactions, and maintains a website.
