Young Professionals are leading the way !! Young Professionals Panel Session was held at the 2018 IEEE Texas Symposium on Wireless and Microwave Circuits and Systems. The event was held after the conference dinner on April 5th, from approximately 8:00 PM until 9:00 PM. As part of the event, students were served a variety of pie and were given the option of coffee, decaf coffee, and hot chocolate to drink

The 5th IEEE MTT-S International Wireless Symposium ( IEEE IWS'2018 ) will be held on May 6-10, 2018 in Chengdu, China, as a part of 2018 China Microwave Week (CMW'2018). IWS has held annually in China to provide an international forum for presentation and exchange of the latest technical achievements and developments in components, circuits, and systems related to existing and emerging wireless technologies.

In addition, IWS 2018 will focus on the convergence of MHz to THz technologies for 5G and beyond.

Young Professionals at European Microwave Week

Bringing industry and academia together, European Microwave Week 2017 (EuMW 2017) was a six day event held in Nuremberg, Germany, October 8–13, including three cutting edge conferences and a trade and technology exhibition featuring leading players from across the globe. As one of world’s biggest technical events, EuMW 2017 grows far beyond the microwave technologies – it is a meeting place for young industry engineers and researchers, and a merging point of industry and academia. With 220 industrial exhibitors, 1600 registered participants and 4000 attendees, this is one of the largest technical events in the Region 8.

The 1st ever IEEE RF & μW Boot Camp was organized by Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG), Mexico on July 24th, 2017. After the advent of Latin America Microwave Conference (LAMC 2016), there was a greater need of involving Young Professionals to provide them better insight in RF & Microwave practical design work. Recognized worldwide as the “Mexican Silicon Valley”, Guadalajara nests 21 universities of higher education and 2 federal scientific research centers.

The rollout of any new generation of mobile network technology is never as simple as flicking on a light switch. The 18th annual IEEE Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON) 2017 will be held in Cocoa Beach, Florida on April 24-25, 2017. The conference aims to address up-to-date multidisciplinary research needs and interdisciplinary aspects of wireless and RF technology.
