Dear colleagues and friends,
I am deeply saddened to inform you that Dr. Mojgan Daneshmand and Dr. Pedram Mousavi along with their two young daughters departed this world when the Ukrainian International Airlines Flight 752 crashed in Tehran on 8th January 2020 (local time). Both Dr. Daneshmand and Dr. Mousavi were professors in the University of Alberta, Canada. They were active members of our microwave community, great educators and contributed significantly to the continued success of education and society. We will deeply miss their presence and may they rest in peace.
