Biography

Hong Hong (M’10-SM’20) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 2010.

He is currently an associate professor in School of Electronic and Optical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China. His current research interests include biomedical applications of microwave technology, audio signal processing, and radar signal processing. In 2014, he was a visiting scholar with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology in Sydney University, Sydney, Australia. In 2019, he was a visiting professor with the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in University of California, Davis, United States.

Dr. Hong has served as a Steering Committee Member and a TPC Member of the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Biomedical Conference from 2018 to 2019. He also serves as a member of the IEEE MTT-S Biological Effect and Medical Applications of RF and Microwave (MTT-28). He is an Associate Editor and Guest Editor of the IEEE JOURNAL OF ELECTROMAGNETICS, RF AND MICROWAVES IN MEDICINE AND BIOLOGY.
