Mission Statement
The Microwave Measurement Technical Committee is dedicated to advancing microwave, millimeter-wave and terahertz measurement technology and science.
Our mission is to support innovation, enhance understanding, and refine methodologies that drive accurate, precise and reliable measurements in the field. The committee seeks to explore emerging measurement techniques, integrate advanced data analytics, and expand interdisciplinary collaboration to address evolving challenges and opportunities in next-generation microwave systems.
We actively promote the visibility and vitality of the measurement community within MTT-S by organizing high-quality technical sessions, workshops, and forums at MTT-sponsored conferences. Additionally, we are committed to developing educational tools and resources that disseminate best practices, strengthen expertise, and support the next generation of measurement professionals. We encourage globally engineers to push the state of the art of microwave and millimeter-wave measurement technology and science and we honor outstanding measurement engineers. In collaboration with the MTT-S Standards Coordinating Committee, we contribute to the development and refinement of IEEE standards, ensuring excellence in measurement techniques and practices across the microwave and millimeter-wave domains.
