Biography
Noriaki Kaneda received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000. He joined Optical Networking Group in Lucent Technologies, Holmdel, NJ as a Member of Technical Staff in 2000. Since 2007 he has been with Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent, Murray Hill, NJ where he currently is a Technical Manager. He has been engaging in the high bit rate optical transmission systems and subsystems for both academic research and product realization. His current research interest includes advanced modem implementation and high-speed digital signal processing in optical and wireless communication systems, microwave and millimeter-wave passive devices, and antennas.
